Description A Chinese watercolor and ink on paper painting by Zhang Daqian. The painting depicts a bird on a rock with bamboo. It includes 3 seals, a dedication to Qiangli, and is mounted on a silk backing and framed. Dimensions are: 39 1/2 inches tall X 18 1/2 inches wide, 100.3 cm tall X 47 cm wide. Condition Report It is in good condition. Please note that the top right corner of the painting was covered by frame over the years and shows a rectangular imprint.
Provenance From the estate of Mr. Chang in Huntington Beach, California; Mr. Chang was a senior executive with British Petroleum and a good friend of Zhang Daqian, who personally gave him these paintings.
