Three-part oliphant carved from a large ivory tusk, partially embellished with openwork and a continuous border of hunting scenes, animals and two portrait busts. The portraits labelled "Wallenstein" and "Gustav Adolf". The sculpted head of a monster with an inset mouthpiece at the upper end. Two lateral suspension loops with an old carrying cord. Minimal spalling at the lower edge. An extremely elaborate carving. Length 89.5 cm.
