The bronze housing richly decorated in relief, with heavy, chased and partially polished fire gilding. An old tension crack on the left side. The finial in the shape of an female allegorical figure (possibly Summer), a fully sculptured parrot next to a flowering sprig on the lower edge. The clock face in white enamel, possibly replaced, behind glass with black Roman and Arabic numerals, inscribed "Dupont à Paris". The gilt hands with engraving and openwork. The large pendulum strikes the half hour, with engraved signature "Dupont Paris", wound with a key. Not tested for proper functioning. Height 68 cm.
