The free-standing brass housing partly silver-plated, partly glass. The sturdy brass plates with a contoured, glazed housing on the top, supported by four flattened ball feet. Containing a small brass movement with a one-day mechanism. Above which, the striking cross, flanked by a silver-plated figurine of Mary and a silver-plated sculpture of Mary Magdalene, bowed in adoration. The figure of Christ of the three-nail type, with silver-plated INRI. Above which a serpent, likewise silver-plated, coiling around the cross and showing the time with its head on the clock cylinder, with Roman numerals on the top.
