A COLUMN WITH NAPOLEON Napoleon sculpture in white biscuit and column in French porcelain, possibly from Sèvres, blue ground, profuse gilt decoration depicting floral motifs, two cartouches with putti and small goat. Porcelain base imitating marble. Height: 66.5 cm. Provenance: Kenneth Neame (London). Note: this column represents the victories of Napoleon in the campaigns of Germany, in 1805. In the Palace of Versailles there is a similar column, but in large dimensions.
