A pair of Chinese famille rose ‘bat and shou’ porcelain vases with globular body and tall cylindrical flaring neck, decorated in colours with design of bats in flight amidst multicoloured lingzhi clouds and trailing peach tree sprigs, above and below a band of shou characters, a band of lappets encircle the foot, a band of floral scrolls with gilt shou characters around the shoulder, and a band of ruyi-heads around the mouth rim.
