the antique Egyptian green marble top within a shapaed gilt-bronze border, the front with three oak lined drawers with ebony veneer and moulded gilt-bronze frame, decorated with marquetry foliate scrolls and flowers on a brown tortoiseshell background, each rounded side adorned with foliate marquetry, with a detached tapered upright leg terminating in a gilt-bronze spiral toupie foot, the whole with rich gilt-bronze ornament, a volute scroll and acanthus side frieze, the front drawers with pelter shaped escutcheons with cockerels and scrolled handles with acanthus leaves and flowerheads, the lower drawer and apron centred by a mask, on six feet; the underside of the marble and the top with an inscription in blue crayon N°119, the back with an old handwritten ink label N°6, the drawers with numbers towards the right in ink, 1, 2 and 3

le bati de chêne et sapin, les tiroirs en chêne ; le plateau en marbre d’Egypte antique (vert d’Egypte) ceint d'une lingotière en bronze doré ; la fa?ade ouvrant à trois tiroirs, à décor en première partie de rinceaux feuillagés et fleurs de cuivre sur fond d'écaille brune ; les c?tés arrondis ornés de rinceaux avec des montants fuselés détachés terminés par des pieds en vis ; riche ornementation de bronze doré : encadrements, entrées de serrure et poignées, masques, volutes d’acanthe et pieds en colima?on ; reposant sur six pieds ; le dessous du marbre et le plateau avec une inscription au crayon gras bleu N° 119, le dos du bati avec une étiquette manuscrite à l'encre n°6, les tiroirs numérotés à l'encre 1,2 et 3 sur leur c?té droit
