The rounded sides deeply carved with ruyi-shaped cloud scrolls revealing black lacquer, interspersed at regular intervals with thin layers of vermillion, with the grooves cut at an angle to make the red layer more visible, the base carved with a cash coin, the interior a silvery metal.
