Of slender hollow cylindrical form, deftly carved in various depths of low relief and openwork with a continuous scene of, on one side, a standing court lady, her hand resting on the gnarled stem on a prunus, and on the other a kneeling lady behind rockwork, all set in a pine, bamboo, prunus rocky landscape, the wood of a deep reddish brown patina.
