The globular body painted in reserve with prunus limbs branching at angles and extending slender shoots of new growth bearing clusters of buds and blossoms all against a bright cobalt-blue ground painted with ‘ cracked ice’ pattern, the domed cover similarly decorated, the glazed base with a double circle in underglaze blue.
