A four-case inr?. Late 19th centuryDisplaying two types of New Year’s decorations, on one side a kumade, a bamboo rake, decorated with a box inscribed Kinsenry? (One thousand ry? in gold), an Okame mask and a ledger with the characters Daifukuch?, and an Edo-style mochibana extending to the other side of the inr? with various takaramono, a dice, takarabune, turnip and tanzaku attached to its branches, all rendered in gold and silver takamaki-e and hiramaki-e with details in black and red lacquer and small inlays of aogai on a highly polished kinji ground. Nashiji and fundame to the inside. Signed Bunry?sai saku. Ojime of transparent glass and ivory manj? decorated with kumade and mochibana in the same lacquer techniques. In one cartouche the characters Ch?kokuji. Wooden box.The bamboo rakes are sold each year in November at the tori-no-ichi market in shrines throughout the country while mochibana are sold at temples and shrines at New Year's. The most famous tori no ichi market takes place at Asakusa, where the temple Ch?kokuji - referred to on the manj? - is located.Height 9.1 cm; width 6.1 cm Inr?. Sp?tes 19. Jh.Sign. in maki-e: Bunry?sai saku5-tlg., mit abgesetzter Schnurführung. Allseitig kinji mit eingestreutem Goldpulver. In Gold- und Silber-takamaki-e und -hiramaki-e sowie Akzenten in Schwarz, Rot und aogai-Einlagen ein Bambusrechen (kumade) mit einem Kasten, bezeichnet Kinsenry? (Tausend ry? in Gold), einer Okame-Maske und einem Kontobuch mit den Schriftzeichen ?Daifukuch?“ und ein Edo-zeitlicher mochibana-Zweig, an dem takaramono, takarabune, Würfel, Rettich und Gedichtstreifen h?ngen. Beides sind Neujahrsdekorationen. Innen nashiji und fundame. Ojime aus farblosem Glas. Elfenbein-manj? mit gleichen kumade- und mochibana-Dekorationen in gleicher Lacktechnik. Holzkasten.Die Bambusrechen werden jedes Jahr im November an den Tagen des Hahnes beim Tori no ichi (Markt des Hahnes)-Fest in Schreinen verkauft, w?hrend die mochibana in Tempeln und Schreinen zu Neujahr verkauft werden. Die auf dem manj? angebrachten Schriftzeichen ?Ch?kokuji“ beziehen sich auf den Tempel in Asakusa, wo der berühmteste Tori no ichi stattfindet.H 9,1 cm; B 6,1 cm
