A silk scarf, commemorating the first De Havilland Comet flight from London to New York, with various worldwide motif of iconic architectural sites including The Taj Mahal, Sydney Bridge, the Acropolis etc, approx 69 x 69 cms. The scarf was presented to the present owners grandfather Edward Bishop Broughton on the inaugural flight as his company Automotive Products manufactured the Lockheed hydraulic gears for the Comet, the company was established in 1928.
