A Large Chinese Han Amber-Glazed Hu Jar. Heavily-potted in a reddish-brown earthenware with moulded taotie mask handles on opposing sides and various deeply incised bands surrounding the body. The glaze finely-crackled. Han Dynasty or later. Height 38.5cm.
