Finely Chinese Porcelain Plate Zhushan Bayou Wang Qi "Lu Yu tea"Hanging Screen: 珠山八友 王琦 瓷板画 “陆羽品茶”挂屏：拍品尺寸：木框：高：59.8cm，宽：37.3cm.瓷板画尺寸：54.5x32.5cm. 拍品来源：早期加拿大华裔古董商 收藏品。此画勾线用笔老辣，顿挫有力，衣纹虬结生姿，刚中有柔，整而不乱，介乎于中国传统减笔描与枯柴描之间，设色细腻，渲染层次丰富，变化微妙，人物的衣袍，轻敷淡染，层次丰富，书法起顿有致，苍劲纵横，散而有序，运古融今，颇有王羲之风。 王琦（1884——1937）别号陶迷道人，斋名陶陶斋，江西新建县人。十七岁时来到景德镇，以捏面人为生，后学画瓷板像。由于他的画造型能力强，又以钱慧安仕女画为蓝本，所画肖像画很受欢迎。1916年他在上海看到许多名家原作，又对黄慎人物画倾慕，开始改变画风在瓷器上专作意笔人物及草书长题，从此很少再画肖像画。1922年瓷业美术社成立，王琦与汪晓棠一道被推为副社长，为“珠山八友”之一。--------------------------------------Finely Chinese Porcelain Plate Zhushan Bayou Wang Qi "Lu Yu tea"Hanging screen: Lot size: Frame: Height: 59.8cm, Width: 37.3cm. Porcelain Dimensions: 54.5x32.5cm. Lot size: Early Chinese Canadian antique dealer Collectibles. This painting line is old and hot with pen strokes. It has a strong and fragile pattern of clothing. It is soft and rigid, but not chaotic. It falls between the Chinese traditional pen description and the dry firewood painting. It is exquisitely colored and rich in rendering. The change is subtle, the robes of people are lightly colored, and the layers are rich. Calligraphy is very vivid, vigorous and vertical, scattered and orderly. Wang Qi (1884 - 1937) alias Taoist Taoist, vegetarian name Tao Tazai, Jiangxi New County. At the age of seventeen, he came to Jingdezhen and took a living by kneading dough. He later learned to paint porcelain plates. Because of his strong sculptural abilities and his paintings based on Qian Hui'an's portraits, the portraits he painted are very popular. In 1916, he saw many famous masterpieces in Shanghai, and admired Huang Shen figure paintings. He began to change the style of the paintings on porcelain and the cursive characters and cursive subjects. From then on, he rarely painted portraits. In 1922, the establishment of the Porcelain Art Corporation, Wang Qi and Wang Xiaotong were promoted as deputy chiefs, one of the “Zhushan Eight Friends”.
