Heavy cast iron. Brown/black patina. Resting on three high curved feet emanating from the mouths of Chinese unicorns / bixie. With compressed belly. Straight shoulder flanked by two handles drawing esses and adorned with a frieze of contrasting combed motifs. Quadrangular rim. A character incised on the side: ? / WANG. Wooden base and lid. The latter topped with a coral fritel / gripping knob (a restored handle).
