THANGKA IN THE EFFIGY OF MAHAKALA

Quadrangular, it is executed in polychromy on a textile panel. It shows an eight-armed deity holding attributes including a shield, sword, severed head, cleaver, damaru and trishula. She is encircled by a flaming mandorla with skulls and is assisted by female deities. Offered for sale in a frame and under glass.
