Some small knocks and cracks. Lid interior with one 7cm split and some further internal chips to the gilt outer layer. The body rim again with some knocks and three visible large splits with some further small hairlines. Lids again with some more minor knocks, surface scuffs and scrapes. Some probable touch-up to the gilding. The chess set unmarked, some pieces with some very small chops and/or nibbles. They are in the manner of a Staunton pattern, but again, there are no marks. The playing cards are modern with Chinoiserie-type detail to reverses. The counters appear generally OK, but there are some chips and nibbles. The checkers/counters with similar wear to chess set, majority appear OK, there are some small nibbles to edges. The cribbage markers appear to be associated, as stated, some ivory and some bone.
