Vases of this pattern were shown by Lambert and Co. (successors to Lambert and Rawlings) at the International Exhibition, London, in 1862 illustrated here. The firm was started by Francis Lambert in 1803 and became an important retailer of reproduction and antique silver. William Rawlings became a partner in 1819 after the demise of Lambert in 1841, Rawlings continued the business until his retirement in 1861. Wrangham & Moulson, were one of Lambert's chief manufacturing silversmiths.
