Provenance: acquired before 1975.
Painted in the typical style of Kamasan, this kind of painting was used to predict favourable days according to the cosmic influence. A very similar painting is in the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco (inv. n. F2002.24.5); another similar style astrological calendar is in the Arthur M. Sackler Museum in Harvard (inv. n. 1984.406).
