An archaistic turquoise-glazed baluster vase
18th century The vessel with paired archaistic chilong-and-ring handles, incised around the rounded shoulder with six floral roundels, the gently tapered sides with an incised mock taotie-and-ring handle below the foot, covered overall in a gently crackled, translucent turquoise glaze, hardwood stand. 37cm (14 1/2in) high (2).
