Two jade snuff bottles
19th centuryThe first, carved from a white stone with cloudy-white and speckled black/grey inclusions with an incised dragon emerging from billowing clouds to one side, the other carved in relief to the orange skin with a phoenix, stopper; the other carved from a white stone with mushroom and grey inclusions with Buddhist emblems, stopper. The tallest: 6.5cm (2 1/2in) high (4).
