A rare enamelled rectangular plaque
Iron-red Hongxian four-character mark, Republic PeriodWell enamelled in shades of grisaille and coral-red with a tranquil mountainous riverscape enclosing a sage and his attendant standing on a riverbank beneath gnarled pine trees while his other attendant crosses a bridge approaching a pavilion enclosure, inscribed at the top right, with the seal at the bottom left. 42.8cm x 29.8cm (17in x 11 3/4in), framed.
