A Chinese jade melon-form carving dating from the 19th century. The carving also includes a monkey, flower, and bug. Dimensions: 2 1/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide; 5.7 cm tall X 3.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report It is in good condition.
Provenance From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970. Lot 79-90 from our March 14, 2019 auction were from the same collection.
