A Chinese small jade tripod censer dating from the 18th century with a wood stand. The censer features a band of taotie masks around the body, 2 upturned handles, and the 3 legs are carved in the form of frogs with their tongues extended. Dimensions: 1 1/2 inches tall X 2 7/8 inches wide, 3.8 cm X 7.3 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report It is in good condition.
Provenance From Mr. Loh in Los Angeles, California; a family heirloom. This collection was acquired in Singapore by Mr. Loh's family over 65 years ago. It was shipped to the US following the death of Mr. Loh's mother.
