A Chinese blanc de chine statue of Guanyin dating from the 16th to the 17th century and with a wooden stand. Guanyin is depicted seated in the Dhyana, or meditation, mudra with 2 attendants. Dimensions: 10 1/2 inches tall X 5 inches wide; 26.7 cm tall X 12.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report The head of Guanyin and the male attendant have been reattached; tip of Guanyin's index finger is missing; minor glaze defects; firing cracks.
