A Chinese knife or letter opener with a white jade handle and enamel sheath. The knife has a highly carved jade handle with moths and flowers. It has a silver pommel. The sheath has three holes, one being for the knife. The sheath features silver floral motifs at each end and a blue ground enamel center with flowers and vines. The bottom has a two-character mark. Dimensions: knife- 10 1/4 inches long X 5/8 inch wide; 26 cm long X 1.6 cm wide. Sheath- 9 1/4 inches long X 7/8 inch wide; 23.5 cm long X 2.2 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report Some areas of chipping to the enamel.
