1876年 鎏金銀禮盒 英國伯明翰Frederick Elkinton製Frederick Elkington's studios were at the center of the Arts and Crafts movement in Birmingham England in the late 19th century. Elkington, Mason & Co, and later Elkington & Co., mastered the process of electroplating but also continued to do traditional silversmithing as seen in this unusual presentation box. The Chinese themes on this box represents the Asian influence of the Aesthetic Movement and is also seen on a tea service by Elkington & Co. now in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum (M.48-2009, M.49-2009, M.50-2009). The V & A tea service is also dated 1876.
