Description Chinese Blanc de Chine Figure of Guanyin
19th Century
Posed standing on a rockwork base a deer to her side with a floral vase on its back, the figure turned slightly left, dressed in log draping robes, the hair gathered into a high topknot above a delicately rendered face, the reverse with two impressed seal marks, mounted as a lamp.
Height 16 inches.

Condition Report Loss to flower petals on deer's back, loss to horns on deer, loss to Guanyin's hair pin, loss to what looks like was a floral stem she was holding in the left hand, loss to forefinger on left hand, loss to 3 fingers on right hand, loss to petal tips on flower in hair, restoration to back of neck, small firing crack above left ear, base drilled for lamp stem.
