Description Group of Four Chinese Glass Snuff Bottles
Comprising a white glass example of flattened ovoid form enameled in the round with scenes of boys at play in a fenced garden setting, below ruyi bands at the neck,
the base with a Qianlong seal mark; an amber glass bottle of ovoid form carved as an elephant adorned with elaborate trappings, the semi-transparent glass suffused with gold flecks; a green overlay yellow glass bottle of rounded form carved through the green layer to the opaque yellow ground depicting a grasshopper on top of a peapod borne on an undulating leafy vine; and a white overlay sapphire blue glass bottle of rounded form carved through the white layer to the semi-transparent ground with floral sprays.
Height of tallest 2 3/8 inches.

Condition Report Yellow and green overlay: Good condition. Blue and white overlay: scattered chips to flowers and leaves, small chips to mouth rim. Amber glass: minute chips to mouth rim. White glass with boys: good condition.
