The leatherette case is monogrammed with CH. Vernon P. Jaeger 0-18954, a chaplain from the later part of WWII into the Korean war. The interior of the case is lined with a royal blue felt and is fitted with a complete brass altar set. It consisting of five weighted brass articles including a crucifix, a pair of candlesticks, and a pair of vases.
