Chinese red glaze vase, Qing Dynasty. The body rising from spreading foot to a round shoulder, overall covered in strawberry-pink glaze mottled with green flecks, white glaze base. Mr. David Wong was an accomplished civil engineer by training and worked in public sector from 1960s to 1990s. An avid collector of Chinese ceramics, jades, and wood carvings, he acquired most pieces in California and Asia prior to 2000s.
