Chinese jade 'elephant' pendant, 17th/18th c. Qing Dynasty. Carved as an elephant standing foursquare with its head turned to its right, furled ears, wrinkled skin, top pierced through with an aperture for threading a string, reverse with four characters surrounded by 'Lingzhi' motifs.
