Chinese iron red 'lotus' candlestick, Qing Dynasty period. The candlestick with bell-shaped base, large circular drip pan with upright sides and everted rim, and tapering column, is finely decorated throughout in iron red enamel, with leafy meander bearing lotus blossoms and Buddhist symbols. The reign mark is in a line within a rectangular panel on the side of the drip pan.
