Frishmuth, during her teens, studied sculpture in Paris classes with critiques by Auguste Rodin, and she later enrolled at the Academie Colarossi. Upon her return to the United States she studied at the Art Students League with Gutzon Borglum. Her works are in some of the world’s leading museums and collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the Dallas Museum of Art and Ohio University’s Kennedy Museum of Art.
