2nd-3rd century AD. A carved schist frieze fragment comprising: two flanking columns with vertical slots framing a scene with standing Buddha with right hand raised in a gesture of reassurance; beside him, a bearded ascetic with a scroll(?) and a raised figure to the rear with hands folded together; a column base with a female bust, below a flower with radiating petals and figure to the centre; two female dancers and a male attendant; mounted on a custom-made stand.
