LONDON teapot, 925 silver, 1803. Maker's mark JOHN EMES, the lower third of the jug is with godrones, the upper and lower ends are decorated with ribbing, the handle is made of wood, the lid knob is made of bone, heraldic engraving with the motto: 'LIBERTAS ET NATALE SOLUM' (freedom and home), h. approx. 12cm. Restored and replaced, signs of age and use.
