Origin: China, 18th century. A famille rose coffee cup with cover from Qianlong (1736-1795) period. Most probably made for export. Decorated with floral spray, double line in red-iron and band with flowers on the foot, well shaped and partially gilt handle, on top floral garland, wide dark blue ground and narrow red bands with gilt décor. Same pattern as on the top of cup is repeated on the cover, ending with gilt finial on the top. Conditions report: cup in virtually perfect condition, except gilt places - worn.
