A large carved smoky quartz cup in the shape of a drinking horn with recurved tendril finial; the body with carved tendrils and double band to the mouth; a tiger to one side with carved detailing, depicted crouched, ready to pounce on its prey. 494 grams, 19cm (7 1/2"). Property of a London collector, acquired in the early 1990s.
