A gilt-bronze figure of Buddha sitting cross-legged on a lotus flower dais, the right hand extended to the ground in the Bhumisparsha mudra with festoons of beads over the body, ushishna above the head and urna on the brow. 6 kg, 38.5cm (15"). From the property of a London gentleman; formerly in a UK collection, acquired in the 1990s.
