Description East Asia, China, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A lovely rock crystal carving of a woman wearing diaphanous clothing and standing in front of a tall vine with flowers sprouting from its sides and a bird perched on one side. The translucent stone and highly polished surface give her a ghostly, magical appearance. Size: 5.4" W x 10.25" H (13.7 cm x 26 cm) Provenance: private Los Angeles, California, USA collection, 1980s to 2000s All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back.
