A set of three vintage French color prints depicting people in national costumes of the Ossau Valley. All prints are signed with initials at the bottom right. One of the prints is hand-signed on the passe-partout in French: "Laruns - Val d'Ossau / Fête Dieu - 1930". Provenance: from the estate of 1950's NYC newspaper editorialist Elburn Rochford. Rochford was the granddaughter of 19th Century American corrupt mayor Alonso "Dirty Doc" Ames in Minneapolis Minnesota.
