A Large Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Glazed Buddhist Jar. Decorated with various appliqués moulded in the form of various Buddhist motifs and lotus leaves. Both inner and outer surfaces coated in a white slip on top of which is the finely-crackled streaky green glaze that in places has a silvery iridescence. Height 34cm (13.25 inches). From Yunnan province, 13th / 14th Century.
