A FINE QUALITY VICTORIAN COROMANDEL VANITY CASE, MADE FOR LADY GRACE LOWTHER, COUNTESS OF LONSDALE, of rectangular form with rounded corners, the brass inlaid lid with initials G.L. opening to reveal a fitted velvet lined interior containing ten cut-glass bottles with silver-gilt mounts, hallmarked London 1887, by Frederick Perry, the brass lock plates inscribed Bramah & Co, 100 New Bond Street, Late J.T. Needs with Royal warrant, an internal tray lifts out to reveal five ivory mounted brushes, all fittings marked with the G.L. initials, recessed brass handles to the sides.
