Chinese white Peking glass 'Prosperity' vase with red overlay 10 h × 6 dia in (25 × 15 cm) Chinese artists have long used five bats to represent the five blessings: health, long life, prosperity, love of virtue, and a tranquil, natural death. The bats are often bright red, the color of joy. The present work is also decorated with the prosperity symbol. please note: This work is located at, and will ship from, Rago in Lambertville, New Jersey. condition: Overall very good condition with a few minor flecks.
