A mid 18th century walnut cased eight day long case clock, signed Wright, Northwich, the pagoda hood with a blind fret work frieze above a pair of tapering pilasters flanking the 31cm square brass dial, the silvered bezel applied with Roman and Arabic numerals, centred with a subsidiary second dial and date aperture, signed with the makers name, the dial enclosing the two train movement which strikes on a saucer bell, above the rectangular cross banded door inlaid with a holly and bog oak star, above the reduced lower panel and plinth base, 210cm high, two weights and pendulum
