South India, 17th/18th century Ensembled shrine consisting of two female figures, each standing on top of a peacock, connected to a lotus shaped handle from which a small miniature brass Shaivaite altar is suspended by chains and conceived in the form of an open encloser and represents the theme of worship of Shiva-linga and Ganesha, the whole mounted to a rectangular base.
