A French late 18thC particular elegant Neoclassical silver ewer with cover, the lid, a part of the body and the foot with engraved decoration, the metal handle covered with leather and additionally decorated with a silver wire braid as a cord, on top of the handle starting grapevines that spread on both sides over the spout, French silver marks used between 1798-1809, 800/000, makers' mark L.F.C., hallmark '3...?' (Montpellier?), H 38 cm - weight c. 1.440 g
