WW1British / RNAS / RAF Interest. An important Historical Document; The Royal Naval Air Service Pilots Flying Log Book of PFO John Denis Breakey (later Air Vice Marshal J.Denis Breakey),? Entries start on 26th July 1917 when in training at Vendome as an RNAS Flight Officer, and covers his training logs at Cranwell, Freiston and Manston, his time in the RNAS No.12 Squadron, No.4 Squadron and No.3 Squadron and the new RAF No.203 Squadron, up until the finish of the log on 19th August 1918, by which time he had gained four of his nine aerial victories and interestingly the volume suggests a fifth previously un-recorded victory on 28th June 1918, all whilst flying the legendary Sopwith Camel (B.R.1).The volume also records another possible unrecorded victory by flying ace Robert A Little when with Breakey in No.3 squadron as well as one of Little's crash landings and the loss of fellow pilots.
