A Royal Welsh Regiment Lord Lieutenant's forage dress cap owned by Sir George Hamer (b.1885-d.1965) constructed of dark blue cloth with a scarlet red centre band, embroidered badge, the black patent leather visor with two rows of silver oak leaves and a green underside, black patent leather chinstrap affixed by a single regimental button to either side, interior with pale brown lining and brown leather sweatband, together with G.A.Dunn & Co Hat box and a card inscribed 'Mr. George F. Hamer Summerfield Park Llanidloes' Provenance: By direct descent.
