An unusual Chinese 18th century famille rose teapot,?Yongzheng period (1723-35) globular body with lotus form base and cover and applied naturalistic foliate mouldings, the busy pond scene design with six large carp finely painted in underglaze blue and polychrome enamels with gilded detailing, Qing dynasty, 10 cm high x 15.5 cm wide?gilding is worn through handling, missing sections of the applied mouldings, some of which have firing cracks/splits, firing crack at the bottom of the handle and the rim or the tapot has a small chip, approx 0.5 cm, see images provided
